Perhaps. Some think the Crosley story is worthy of being made into a biopic, ala <span style="font-style: italic;">Tucker</span>. But it's really not that big of a story; hundreds of tales just like it were played out around the country during the American Century.<br /><br />If you want to talk about brother acts, there were Roy and Walt Disney. Men driven to do anything to get to build cars? There's Preston Tucker, of course. And Floyd Clymer and his Indian motorcycle revival (among many other things). Manufacturers? The Lunkenheimers, with their forays into early aviation history. The Ball Brothers of Muncie, Indiana, who not only came up with a better idea and better way to do it, but also figured heavily in the Inter-State Automobile Company early in the 20th Century.<br /><br />Then there are the Cincinnati Tafts, and the Fleischmann family (there's a book out about them already). Not to mention Barney Kroger (there's a guy with some interesting secrets).<br /><br />A biopic would end up being heavily fictionalized, and Hollywood would make both Powel and Lewis out to be treacherous men and womanizers. They'd probably fashion Powel after Howard Hughes. So, no, a straight documentary would be the way to go.
